Frequntly Ask Questions

Q. Do I have to be fit to participate?

Not at all, anyone willing to participate can try an ESD workshop as well as a Gung-Fu class, if you fall under specified audience definition

. You are be the one setting your own goals and pace. Don’t worry, there will be a lot of encouragement, assistance, support along the way.
Our classes are inclusive in any possible way. Some severe health related restrictions that can prevent your participation will be mentioned in your signup form.

Q. Do I need to wear, eat or drink something special before the class? What should I bring?

«Come as you are» is the motto of our ESD classes. Please wear what you usually wear, and bring your water bottle with you.

For your Gung Fu classes wear a T-shirt and long tights or sports trousers. You can wear long sleeves and a sprots skirt in case you need it. Hydrate well in advance and don’t eat a heavy meal at least 2-3 hours prior to the class.

Q. Is it safe? Does it hurt?

Both ESD and Gung Fu classes are very safe as long you are following the instructions precisely. Any physical contact is consensual, lead and controlled by you. There are clear rules of stepping in and out of any exercise.

Usually ESD classes include no pain or discomfort at all, when during Gung Fu practice you are offered an option to develop some pain endurance — exclusively in safe areas and according to a pace fully controlled by you.
